Tips and Inspiration for your European holiday

gorges_du_Verdon150The Gorges du Verdon (Green Gorge), situated in Provence, south west France, is the second largest gorge in the world. At 25 kilometres long and 700 metres deep in places, the gorge is named after the River Verdon which flows through it.  One of the most dramatic natural sights in Europe, the Gorges du Verdon passes through mostly uninhabitated country between Moustiers-Ste-Marie and Castellane.

Some of the most spectacular viewing points can be found at Point Sublime, Balcons de la Mescla and Pont de l'Artuby.
