Since 1986 (first in USA then Australia)

What inspired you to start the business?

Starting in the industry as a Tour Manager, it was the next step to further my involvement in an exciting business.

Do you travel regularly to Europe?

About five times annually.

Are any other family members involved in the business?

Yes, my partner Kathie Young.

What do you enjoy most about running this kind of business?

Planning special tours that travellers cannot find on every travel agent's brochure shelf.

Do you have any funny/memorable/inspirational memories of the business to share with us?

A common complaint from Americans on tours that I personally escort – that they never did get to the “Opera House” in Munich, and instead we went drinking at the beerhall. They misunderstand my pronunciation of the “Hofbrauhaus”!!
