Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland, so it makes sense to base yourself in accommodation here while enjoying your Scottish holiday. There are many sights and attractions in this glorious city but Glasgow is particularly famous for its collection of museums and galleries. Be sure to visit Kelvingrove which has 22 themed state-of-the-art galleries; Burrell, which is home to everything from Chinese to Gothic Art; The Gallery of Modern Art and the CCA for both established names and student works from the Glasgow School of Art. The small cinema within the CCA shows many independent films and documentaries that you won’t see in the popular cinema complexes.
