Some of my favourite European travel blogs....

Favourite European travel blogsWhilst I've travelled to Europe on many occasions and have picked up lots of tips and useful info along the way which I love to write about in the Holidays to Europe blog, I don't claim to know everything about this amazing continent.  Nor have I visited every European country, so one of the things I really enjoy doing is reading blogs by others who've travelled in Europe.  These blogs not only give you another opinion on places to visit and things to see and do, they also provide handy tips AND you get to share in the excitement of someone else's journey!

Here are a few of my favourite European travel blogs:

Renovating Italy Aussie Lisa Chiodo and her husband and family are currently renovating a house in Italy.  Lisa shares her journey of the renovation process and life and travels in Italy on her popular blog.

My Melange Robin is an American travel consultant who specialises in arranging tailor-made itineraries for clients heading to France and Italy.  She is passionate about food, wine and travel and blogs about her experiences in her two favourite European countries.

French for Foodies Rachel Bajada's blog promises to 'satisfy your cravings with regular doses of French foodie adventures from an Aussie living in Paris.' Bursting with French recipes and restaurant suggestions in Paris, this blog will really get your mouth watering!

Aussie in France 'Fraussie' is an ex-pat Australian who lives in France.  She blogs about her life in France (she's lived there since 1975) and her favourite things to see and do in Paris, as well as her travels in Europe.

Ciao Bambino This website/blog is dedicated to family-friendly holidays.  It features lots of blog articles on child-friendly hotels and sightseeing throughout Europe, as well as travel tips and reviews.

Journeywoman An online travel magazine specifically for women travellers, Journeywoman (Evelyn Hannon) is the 'guru' when it comes to travel blogging. With a huge readership worldwide who provide tips and advice for fellow travellers, Journeywoman is a wonderful resource for any woman heading off on a trip to Europe.

Europe a la Carte blog Full of reviews, travel tips and city guides, Europe a la Carte blog offers author Karen Bryan's thoughts on everything to do with European travel from budget airlines to hotel reviews and everything in between.

Heather on her travels Another UK-based blogger, Heather takes every opportunity to visit different parts of Europe and she shares her travel experiences on her blog.  Videos and photos make the blog very appealing on the eye.

Get in the Hot Spot Author Annabel Candy shares her thoughts and experiences from a lifetime of travel around the world.
With plenty of humour thrown in, Annabel's articles are a very enjoyable and informative read.

What European travel blogs do you follow? Share them with our readers below and we may even add them to our list.

Don't forget to check out my blog and European destination articles which include suggestions on places to go and things to see and do.

Hi Carolyn,

Thanks for including me here. I write travel stories about anywhere in the world but I've had so many brilliant adventures in Europe I think those are some of my funniest stories:)

I was back there last year on a visit from Australia where I live now and it will always be a regular travel spot for me.

So many places to visit, so little time:) I'm sure your tours help people fit in as much as they can as possible!
