The Australian owners of Castel Grand Rue have ensured that the self-contained gite is fully equipped with all the conveniences you need to enjoy the perfect holiday in Languedoc.
Castel Grand Rue is located in the heart of Olonzac, capital of the Minervois, France's famous southern wine region. The Maison is a traditional three-storey villa right in the centre of town. Just step outside your door to be part of the bustle and wonder of old style France, or enjoy the the peace and solitude that only a small French town can offer.
The 3 bedroom gite comfortably sleeps six guests in two double rooms and one twin bedded room. The kitchen, dining and living rooms have a Moroccan theme and a separate laundry has a washing machine and plenty of storage space for bikes and hiking boots.
Castel Grand Rue's kitchen is well-equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, china and modern appliances so you can cook up the freshest of meals made from local produce. Each Tuesday, you can buy right outside your front door as the town's weekly market is held literally on your door step!
The house is bright and airy with stylish furnishings throughout. It comes fully equipped with all bed linen and towels and unlike some other properties, there are no additional charges for cleaning or electricity. Free parking (non-reserved) is available only 15 metres from the house.
For your enjoyment there is satellite television (English spoken channels), a DVD player, video player, Hi-Fi system, and a Weber BBQ on the terrace. Complimentary WiFi access is provided if you bring your own laptop. The English-speaking caretakers live nearby and are on hand to assist you if required during your stay.
