Our three holiday self-catering holiday cottages in the Loire Valley countryside are available between 1st March and 31st October for any day arrival and flexible length stays - minimum 3 nights.

We have welcomed people from all over the world to stay in our former Touraine farm dating from the early 18th century, guests often return and many of those who stay as part of a longer France or European tour enjoy spending a few days at les Limornieres just relaxing & soaking up the 'real french experience' often quoted as the perfect pause after a busy time in Paris and often used en route for onward tour to Dordogne, Bordeaux & further south & south west.

Alternatively there are good train links - under an hour to Paris (TGV to Montparnasse) from Tours - linking well for Eurostar connections to London. From Tours & Poitiers (both 60km) there are direct flights to London Stansted, Dublin, Porto, Marseille & Scotland with Ryanair & more options during summer direct to Southampton & to other UK regional airports via Flybe.

The three cottages surround a sunny courtyard garden and they in turn are further surrounded by further gardens and far reaching views across fields to woods. The cottages are rented separately providing accommodation for 2-4 people, 4/5 people & 5+. They are also rented to groups on holiday together, providing communal shady outdoor dining space in the summer.

The cottages are located <3km via="" quiet="" lane="" from="" le="" grand="" pressigny="" with="" chateau="" and="" museum="" amenities="" idyllic="" countryside="" setting="" providing="" well-represented="" well-equipped="" self-catering="" cottages="" set="" in="" landscaped="" gardens="" bikes="" provided="" for="" guests="" to="" explore="" locally="" -="" maps="" circular="" bike="" walking="" routes="" all="" local="" villages="" br="">
Further afield you'll find medieval towns with weekly farmers markets, inviting lunch stops, chateaux, royal palaces, castles, gardens, vineyards and more. Descartes 15km, Loches, Angles-su-Anglin, Azay-le-Ferron 30km, Chinon, Montresor, Richelieu 40km, Tours, most of the headline Loire Valley chateaux including Amboise, Villandry, Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau wihin 60km.

All the above are reached by relatively traffic free country lanes & all via scenic circlar routes allowing you to pass, stop & experience the many many historic towns, villages & beautiful countryside on your way.
